Rihanna got candid about her "mom uniform" during the launch of her Savage X Fenty Lavish Lace lingerie collection preview at Nordstrom in Los Angeles on Thursday, (October 10), revealing that she prefers comfort when caring for her children.
The "Diamonds" hitmaker spoke to People about the outfits she wears during her daily life as a mom to her two sons (whom she shares with rapper A$AP Rocky), RZA, 2, and Riot, 14 months, insuring her comfort and their safety.
"Anything that's cozy, anything that's stretchy, anything that's easy to bend down and pick my kids up in. Those are the things I look for. Things that don't scratch me, don't scratch them. We've got a lot of work to do in a day of a life of a mom."
As for lingerie, the star believes it "should be worn any way and anywhere that you want," referring to clothes as "self-care."
"Whether you want it to be seen on display outside of T-shirts, inside a jacket falling off, or just to be cozy or just to have a little support. It's the small things. Take my makeup off at night. These are just little things that mean a lot. It feels like self-care and it feels good."
The stunning songstress unveiled her new lingerie collection a few weeks ago, drawing attention to a stunning yellow set complete with diamond and gold heels.
