Giggs is back with an emotional song that gives fans a rare glimpse of his personal life.
On Thursday, April 3, the British rapper delivered his new track "11th of May" via NO BS MUSIC LIMITED. On the song produced by Levi, Sidereal & Desro, Giggs opens up about how he's feeling about his life and legacy. He reflects on how much his children have grown over the years and shares his most intimate feelings about the direction he's going in.
βThis one comes straight from the depths of the Hollowman heart," Giggs tells iHeartRadio about the song.
"Nowadays my senses just be smellin' deceit, had to get me some peace," he spits. "The street's just a step-and-repeat that you'll never complete/A man's just embodied with greed, and we'll never agree/A old n***a stuck in the streets, that'll never be me."
Giggs also delivered a powerful music video for the track, which is named after his birthday. The visuals, shot only in black-and-white, allow fans to see the seasoned artist in rare form. He tells his story while setting up a picnic in an open field with his three kids and their dog.
"11th of May" is the third song Giggs released this year. He previously dropped "Big on Change" and "The Entry" with DJ AG back in February. Before he dropped those singles, he connected with KidSuper and Quavo for their collaboration "Big In Da Game."
